Last night’s doubleheader between Russell County and Cumberland County was action-packed.

In the first game, the Lady Lakers and Lady Panthers went into double-overtime, where the Lady Panthers prevailed by a score of 63-59.

It was a tough loss for the Lady Lakers, who are now 10-7 on the season and 2-2 in district play.

The Lady Lakers are scheduled to be back at home on Friday, taking on the Grace James Academy at 6 p.m.
