Branscum to chair House Economic Development and Workforce Investment Committee

Russell County’s Josh Branscum is the new chair of the Kentucky House’s Economic Development and Workforce Investment Committee.

This committee crafts policies relating to the unemployment insurance program, worker safety, and workforce development, along with legislation and policies aimed at creating an environment that supports business growth, creation, and recruitment.

Branscum previously served as the vice chair of the committee.

Branscum represents Russell County, Clinton County, and a portion of Pulaski County in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
