The 7th grade Laker Basketball team finished as runner-up in the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference basketball tournament over the weekend.
The top-seeded Lakers defeated Campbellsville 52-44 in their first game, but dropped a close one to the 2-seed Adair County in the conference championship, falling 40-38.
