School board holds first reading of next year’s school calendar

While we’re only halfway through the current school year, plans are already in the works for next year’s school calendar.

The Russell County Board of Education held the first reading of the 24-25 school calendar last week. WJRS News spoke with Superintendent Michael Ford about the school calendar.

The calendar also includes fall break the first full week in October and spring break the first full week in April.
