A Russell Springs woman was arrested last night for assaulting a police officer and several other charges.
According to reports, 49-year-old Brenda Martin was arrested on charges including assault of a police officer, fleeing or evading police, terroristic threatening, resisting arrest, public intoxication of a controlled substance, and menacing.
Martin was arrested by Deputy Barber with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 9 last night.
