The Russell Springs Fire Department responded to a brush fire last week on Milton Heights Road.
Fire units were called out just before noon last Wednesday to the brush fire with 10 firefighters working on scene for more than two hours to contain the fire.
No injuries were reported and property damage was minimal, according to reports.
The Russell Springs Fire Department reminds the community that a burn ban is in effect, which prohibits burning from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m to help prevent incidents such as this.
