Russell County Middle School received green ratings across the board on the latest Kentucky School Report Card.
Green is the second-best color rating a school can achieve.
RCMS saw improvement in its scores across all subject areas from the previous year, including a 4 point improvement in reading and math, along with a 3 point improvement in science, social studies, and writing.
Russell County Middle School exceeded state average in the percentage of students scoring proficient and distinguished in reading, math, and science, but was lower than state average in the percentage of students scoring proficient and distinguished in social studies and combined writing.
