Several people were on hand for the ribbon cutting on the new Climavision Weather Radar in Jamestown on Thursday.
One of those people was John Gordon, the chief meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Louisville.
Gordon said the new radar is a great addition and will help fill a significant weather radar gap in the area.
