Authorities are searching for a man suspected of shooting three people in the Science Hill area of Pulaski County late last night.
According to authorities, the suspect is 20-year-old Austin Prather.
Austin is suspected of shooting his grandparents and his father, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement was called to a residence in Science Hill just before midnight last night and upon arrival, found 67-year-old Ardyth “Ray” Prater deceased from a gunshot wound and his wife, 65-year-old Joann Prather, seriously wounded from a gunshot and stab wound.
Joann Prather was treated on scene and then flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital.
At another residence down the road, authorities found Ardyth Prather III, known as Trae, deceased as well.
Austin Prather is the son and grandson of the victims, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, and is considered armed and dangerous. He is believed to be driving a brown Jeep Wrangler.
