Social security recipients will be receiving a cost-of-living increase beginning next year.
The Social Security Administration announced this week that the cost-of-living adjustment will be about 3.2 percent, meaning the average recipient will receive $50-60 more per month starting in January.
Last year, the Social Security Administration approved an 8.7 percent benefit increase.
