A man charged with attempted murder and drug trafficking was in Russell District Court this week.
35-year-old Joseph Shoaf appeared in court this week on an arraignment hearing where District Judge Mike Lawson set bond at $20,000 cash.
According to Russell Springs Police, Shoaf stabbed another man, identified as Ronald Draper, multiple times causing injuries to the eyes, back of the head, and back of the neck.
Russell Springs Police charged Shoaf with attempted murder and trafficking in marijuana.
He is scheduled to be back in court for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 23.
