Russell County Middle School teacher Jason Davidson has been chosen as one of 21 teachers state-wide to participate in the University of Kentucky – Jewish Heritage Fund Holocaust Education Initiative.
The program creates a network of teachers across Kentucky who feel confident and capable of including curriculum about the Holocaust in their classrooms.
The goal is to enhance K-12 Holocaust education and provide professional learning and teaching tools around the subject.
Davidson is one of only four public middle school teachers to be selected for the program.
