A major event at the Lake Cumberland Dragway this weekend is expected to bring thousands of visitors to Russell County.
The Halloween Havoc event will take place tomorrow and Saturday at the drag strip off Airport Road.
The event will include something for children and adults, including bounce houses, face painting, trunk or treat, costume contests, and car shows, along with races.
Organizers say they do several of these events per year with attendance ranging from 3,000 to 5,000.
Half of the proceeds from the event are expected to go to the county.
