The Russell County Board of Education will meet in special session today.
The meeting will be at noon today instead of the regular 5 p.m. meeting time due to a regional Kentucky School Board Association in Somerset this evening.
The school board is expected to hear an update on the new athletic facility project, discuss a school door access control project, and several other agenda items.
The board will meet in room 114 of the Russell County ANC.
