The Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department has received some new equipment with the help of grant funds.
A 5 percent FEMA grant and another 50 percent grant have helped purchase much-needed equipment for the department.
Mayor Eddie Thomas told WJRS News it was great to be able to use the funds to help purchase the equipment.
