The Russell Springs Police Department worked a wreck on West Highway 80 late last week.
According to police, the collision occurred Friday morning just before 8:30 when a 2016 Nissan Sentra, operated by 67-year-old Pauline Davenport of Russell Springs, was struck by a 2003 Ford Taurus operated by 84-year-old Clarence Redmon, also of Russell Springs.
According to police, Davenport pulled into a lot near the intersection of Highway 80 and Luda Street with the intent to turn around, and as she pulled out from the lot, her vehicle was struck.
Russell Springs Police was assisted on scene by members of the Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
