In middle school sports action, the Lady Laker Basketball team won 2 of 3 games over Casey County last night.
The 8th grade team won by just a single point, coming out on top 31-30.
The 7th grade team won handily by a score of 32-10.
The 6th grade team came up just short, falling by a score of 25-21.
In football, the Lakers took on McCreary Central with the A team falling 22-6 and the B team falling 36-6.
