Both the Laker and Lady Laker Soccer teams were once again victorious last night with both teams coming away with shutout wins.
The Lakers won at home last night, defeating the Taylor County Cardinals by a score of 3-0.
Taven Foley scored a pair of goals for the Lakers, and Antonio Martinez added another.
Xavi Medrano, Will Pratt, and Connor Holmes each recorded an assist.
Goalkeeper Xavion Russell recorded 15 saves without allowing a goal.
The Lady Lakers were on the road yesterday, defeating Casey County 4-0.
Madison Weisbrodt led Russell County with a pair of goals, while Adriana Thomas and Samantha Hernandez each scored a goal.
Weisbrodt recorded an assist for the Lady Lakers, and goalkeeper Liz Evans had 13 saves in the shutout victory.
The Lakers go on the road Thursday for a district matchup with Monroe County, while the Lady Lakers are at home on Thursday, hosting district rival Clinton County.
Both games get underway at 5:30 p.m.
