Laker golfer Noah McMillin qualified for the semi-state tournament with his performance in the 4th Region golf tournament in Nicholasville yesterday.
McMillin birdied the first hole in a playoff to secure the spot in the semi-state tournament, which will be held in Calvert City.
McMillin shot a 79 on the day, which led the Lakers as Russell County finished 6th overall in the tournament.
Kole Rixon shot an 81, Nate Aaron shot an 82, and Daylon Blevins and Gabe Browning shot an 85.
