The Russell County Laker Football team fell on the road at Casey County Friday night by a score of 24-6.
The Lakers will look for their first win of the season in their home opener this Friday as they host Lincoln County in the first district game of the season.
Kickoff between the Lakers and Patriots is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Friday night is also homecoming for Russell County High School.
