The Russell County Lakers won their first game of the season Friday night, defeating the East Jessamine Jaguars 21-14 at Finley Field Friday night.
The Lakers go on the road this Friday night for a district matchup with Taylor County.
The Cardinals enter at 4-2 and are coming off a 50-14 win over Wayne County.
Kickoff between the Lakers and the Cardinals is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
