The Lake Cumberland Poker Run is back this weekend, bringing a large number of visitors to the lake as the summer tourism season winds down.
The Poker Run, headquartered at State Dock, is considered by the powerboat industry to be one of the top five poker runs in America.
Today, boats will take off to visit the other marinas on the lake. This portion of the event allows time for participants to get their cards punched and return to State Dock by Saturday evening to draw the best hand out of five cards.
