Lake Cumberland Children’s Advocacy Center receives $112K grant

The Lake Cumberland Children’s Advocacy Center was chosen as a recipient of the federal Victims of Crime Act, with the local nonprofit receiving more than $112,000.

This funding prioritizes services to victims of child abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence.

The Lake Cumberland Children’s Advocacy Center was one of about 100 recipients in Kentucky.

The Bethany House in neighboring Pulaski County was also selected as a grant recipient, receiving about $122,000.
