Jamestown Elementary School teacher Donnie Wilkerson is a semifinalist for the Kentucky Teacher of the Year Award, which will be announced today.
The winner of the statewide award will be announced at a ceremony at the state capitol in Frankfort beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Wilkerson is one of 10 semifinalists for the award and is one of four semifinalists for the Kentucky Elementary School Teacher of the Year award.
