Judge Executive Randy Marcum has proclaimed today as Donnie Wilkerson Day in Russell County.
Wilkerson was named the 2024 Kentucky Elementary Teacher of the Year earlier this week.
Wilkerson has been teaching for 19 years and teaches 5th grade social studies at Jamestown Elementary.
