After tabling the memorandum of agreement at their last meeting, the Russell County Fiscal Court approved its agreement with the Russell County Board of Education and the City of Jamestown to help fund a school resource officer at Jamestown Elementary.
Resource Officer Jamie Rogers, Police Chief Jeff Kerns, and Russell County Schools Superintendent Michael Ford were at the meeting to encourage the court to pass the memorandum of agreement.
After a short discussion, the court approved once again helping fund the SRO.
