Federal government planning to reopen site to order free at-home COVID tests

The federal government is planning to reopen the site that allows Americans to order up to four free at-home COVID tests per household.

Orders can be placed at COVIDTests.gov starting Monday, and the tests will be delivered for free by the United States Postal Service.

The tests are designed to detect COVID variants currently circulating, and are intended for use by the end of the year.
