A new fast electric vehicle charging station is coming to Russell County.
The new charging station will be located at the Russell County Tourism Office in Russell Springs, and is the result of a partnership between LG&E and Kentucky Utilities.
The charging location in Russell County will be a Level 3 charger, which is one of only a couple in the state. The level 3 charger will allow electric vehicles to receive a full charge in 15-90 minutes.
The charger is expected to be installed within the next few months.
