Neighboring Adair and Casey counties will receive funds for broadband expansion.
Duo Broadband is receiving about $7.2 million to expand service to 378 homes and businesses in Adair County, and Spectrum Mid-America is receiving just over $12 million to expand service to 2,142 homes and businesses in Casey County.
In total, 46 counties are receiving funds with over 42,000 homes and businesses impacted by this latest round of funding.
