Data from the Kentucky Department for Public Health shows 25 COVID-19 cases were reported in Russell County last week.
That number includes only confirmed cases reported to the state health department.
Pulaski County had the most in the area at 47, followed by Wayne County with 44.
Adair County had 23, while Casey County had 19, Clinton County had 15, and Cumberland County reported just 4.
According to the data, children have been most affected by COVID-19 over the last week with the highest incidence rate last week being amongst children 4 and under, followed by those ages 12-17.
