The Russell County 4-H Shooting Sports team competed well at the recent Adair County contest.
Here’s how Russell County contestants fared in the team shooting competitions. All these teams were in the 9-11 age range.
Titus Popplewell, Jadan Durham, Aiden Mondie and Blake Kerns – 1st place in BB shooting
Charley Cundiff, Carter Brown, Ajay Banks, and Jadan Durham – 1st place in the .22 sport rifle
Ajay Banks, Charley Cundiff, Carter Brown and Chase Robertson – 1st place in the .22 target rifle
Dalton Foley, Will Hatter, Carter Brown, and Vance Foley – 1st place in black powder percussion rifle
Will Hatter, Dalton Foley, and Vance Foley – 1st place in black powder flintlock rifle
Dalton Foley, Bryson (Max) Roy, Lucian Wright, and Cali Robertson – 3rd place in bare bow archery
