The Russell County Lady Laker Soccer team is in action in the Kentucky 2A tournament today, taking on Taylor County.
The match will take place at Marion County High School at 7:30 p.m. CT.
The Lady Lakers took a tough loss to Garrard County over the weekend, falling 4-2.
Adriana Thomas scored both goals for the Lady Lakers, and Liz Evans finished with 12 saves while Jasmine Bennett finished with 8.
The JV squad picked up a 3-2 victory on Saturday.
Addison Coffey scored all three goals for the Lady Lakers, including the game-winning goal with just 20 seconds remaining.
