Three Russell County residents were indicted in Adair County recently.
Kaylie Sierra Jones of Jamestown was indicted on charges of assault first degree and burglary first degree.
According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, Jones was arrested in early May after she reportedly traveled to Adair County to the home of a man she had been involved in a relationship with, broke into the home, and then when the man woke up, an argument ensued which resulted in Jones reportedly shooting the man in the leg just outside the home.
Barry Joe Kerr of Russell Springs was indicted on a charge of escape second degree and being a persistent felony offender.
Anthony D. Cook of Russell Springs was indicted on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing or evading police on foot, and being a persistent felony offender.
