The Russell County Sheriff’s Office released its report for the month of March during Monday night’s fiscal court meeting.
The sheriff’s office responded to eight domestic calls and worked 18 traffic accidents during the month.
The sheriff’s office also provided 26 mental health transports and had 72 court papers served while driving over 5,000 court security miles, performing 42 vehicle inspections, and issuing 18 concealed carry permits.
The office has also collected just over $11.8 million in property taxes thus far.
