The company’s gas price tracker has the average price of gas in Russell County at $3.33. That’s lower than each of the neighboring counties beside Adair County, which was slightly lower at $3.29.
Clinton County has some of the highest-priced gas in the area at an average of $3.47.
Russell County comes in lower than the state average of $3.44.
According to AAA, average prices across the state range from $3.08 in Marion County to $3.69 in Northern Kentucky.
