The Russell County Laker Baseball team defeated Wayne County last night, avenging its loss to the Cardinals earlier this season.
This time, the Lakers came out on top 10-5.
Lincoln Helm went 6 innings to pick up the victory, giving up 3 hits and 3 earned runs, striking out 3.
At the plate, Mayes Gosser had a home run along with 3 hits, and Adam Walters and Ayden McGowan each drove in a pair of runs.
The Lakers will look to get another win tonight, as they host the Southwestern Warriors.
First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
