
The Russell County Laker Baseball team went on the road and defeated Adair County last night.
The Lakers picked up their 10th consecutive win by defeating the Indians 5-2.
Adam Walters and Aidan Antle each drove in a pair of runs, and Walters picked up the win on the mound, pitching six innings and giving up two runs on four hits and striking out 6.
The JV team also picked up a 4-3 win over the Indians.
The Lakers are on the road again today, this time in a district matchup at Cumberland County.
First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
