Deadline to register to vote less than one week away

The deadline to register to vote in the May primary is now less than one week away.

The deadline to register to vote in the primary is Monday, April 17th at 4 p.m.

Those who need to register to vote have two options.

The first is to go to the county clerk’s office inside the old courthouse on the public square in Jamestown during normal business hours and submit a voter registration card.

The second is to visit the Kentucky Secretary of State’s website here .

Once you have registered to vote, you do not have to re-register for each election as re-registration is necessary only if you have moved or legally changed your name.
