A Somerset man was arrested by Russell Springs Police on a drug charge and traffic violations earlier this week, according to the authorities.
David Slagle, age 55, was stopped by RSPD Officer Breton Llané around 10:30 p.m. Monday when Slagle’s vehicle needed proof of insurance verified. Police also say that that Slagle had a suspended driver’s license.
Slagle was charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and possession of marijuana.
In addition to those charges, RSPD Officer Mason Miniard also served Slagle with an outstanding warrant.
Slagle was arrested and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
