Russell, Adair, others back to medium level of COVID spread this week

Russell County’s COVID status continues to fluctuate as the county is back in the yellow, or medium, level of virus spread this week, according to the Kentucky Department of Public Health.

Their latest COVID-19 map also shows neighboring Adair County, Taylor County, and Green County in the yellow this week. The remaining six counties in the Lake Cumberland District are in the green, or low, level this week.

A total of 20 counties in the state have the yellow status this week but there continues to be no red counties in the state once again this week. Red indicates a high level of community spread of the COVID-19 virus.
