This afternoon, “Read Across Russell County” takes places at the Russell County Public Library in Jamestown
The free event, put on by the Russell County Education Association and the library, goes from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
All Russell County Schools’ students as well as their parents and guardians are invited to the event, which is also sponsored in part by the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery and Lake Cumberland State Resort Park.
The event will include “Reading with a Laker”, button making, face painting, a photo booth, and free pizza from Pizza Hut in Russell Springs.
