The Russell County Education Association and the Russell County Public Library are partnering together for their annual “Read Across Russell County” event, which takes place Tuesday afternoon.
RCEA President Rhonda Kimbler said that all Russell County Schools’ students as well as their parents and guardians are invited to the event, which is also sponsored in part by the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery and Lake Cumberland State Resort Park.
The free event goes from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow at the library and will include “Read with a Laker”, button making, face painting, a photo booth, and free pizza from Pizza Hut in Russell Springs.
