The Russell County Middle School Softball teams won big over Green County yesterday.
The Lady Lakers won the first game 15-2 with Madelyn Roy getting the win pitching for Russell County.
Roy allowed just 2 hits and 2 runs in 5 innings and struck out 3.
Roy also had three hits and a home-run in the win.
Camden Cooper led the team with 4 hits.
In the B game, Russell County picked up an 8-0 win with Lillian Davis getting the win for the Lady Lakers.
The RCMS Softball team is back in action tomorrow hosting Adair County in the home opener at 5 p.m.
