The Russell County Middle School girls soccer team defeated Northern Middle School in district play last night by a score of 4-1.
Addison Coffey led the Lady Lakers with a pair of goals, while Madison Bennett and Jayde Bozell each added a goal.
The Lady Lakers finish district play with a 7-1 record.
The middle school soccer teams are back in action today at home against Casey County beginning at 5 p.m.
