A Wayne County man was reportedly shot during an attempted robbery late Saturday night.
According to law enforcement, the shooting happened just before midnight when a man reportedly attempted to break into a home, and the homeowner shot the suspect, who was later transported to the University of Kentucky hospital.
There was a child inside the home at the time of the suspected break-in, according to law enforcement,
