According to AAA’s gas price tracker, the average price of gas in Russell County is $3.26, on par with the state average.
Roughly two weeks ago, the average price of gas in Russell County was $3.09.
The lowest prices in the area are in Taylor County, which has the lowest prices in the state according to AAA at $2.90.
Neighboring Adair, Wayne, and Pulaski counties have prices on par with Russell County, while Cumberland County comes in lower at $3.14 along with Casey County at $3.18 and Clinton County at $3.19.
The national average price is up to $3.48.
