The Russell County High School Baseball and Softball teams will be in action tonight.
The Laker Baseball team will host 16th district opponent Monroe County in the team’s home opener this evening.
First pitch between the Lakers and Falcons is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
The Lakers enter at 1-0 on the season following a 12-6 win over Green County last week, while the Falcons enter at 1-2 coming off a 13-10 loss to Hart County last Thursday.
We’ll have the game live on Laker Country 104.9 this evening with pregame beginning about 10 minutes prior to first pitch.
The Lady Laker Softball team, entering with a record of 1-2, will go on the road to face the Glasgow Lady Scotties, who enter with a record of 1-1.
First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
