KU set to close in-person offices in coming months

Kentucky Utilities say they will close their in-person offices by the end of 2024 and rely on “self-service channels,” the company has announced, citing a decline in walk-in transactions, increased customer use of self-service channels and best practice among similar utilities.

KU said the change would apply to all 26 of its offices, including its office in Campbellsville, which services portions of our area.

Along with their mobile app and website, customers can pay in-person at Kroger and Walmart, among other retailers. Customers need to provide their account number to submit a payment at those locations.

KU customers can find retail locations through their website.
