Russell, most neighboring counties in ‘green’ on COVID map

Russell County, along with most neighboring counties, are in the green, or low level of community spread, on the latest COVID-19 map released by the Kentucky Department for Public Health.

The only surrounding county not in the low level of spread is Casey County, which has a medium level of spread and is designated yellow.

The state shows a significant portion in the green with yellow and red counties mostly concentrated in the northern and eastern parts of the commonwealth.
