Laker golf senior Bentley Perkerson traveled to the Owensboro Country Club to play in the first round of the KHSAA State Tournament on Monday.
The top three teams and the top 15 individuals not on those teams advances to the state finals next week.
Perkerson shot an 80 on his round and finished tied for 28th, just a couple shots shy of advancing to the next round.
